East Asian Soccer picks Ten of the Best personalities and players in the 2016 Asian Champions League.
Number 6 – Wu Lei
Wu Lei, who is one of the most talented players at Shanghai SIPG. After spending more than four years at SIPG, he has formed strong combinations with all his teammates.
Wu’s talent saw him achieve the top domestic scorer of the Chinese Super League in 2014. Unsurprisingly he was top domestic scorer at SIPG in 2014 and 2015. Wu played on the right-side of an attacking midfield triplet behind Asamoah Gyan in 2015, and despite the arrival of former Guangzhou Evergrande forward Elkeson, Wu has retained that right-sided midfield position.
Wu scored two goals in Shanghai SIPG’s 3-0 victory over Muangthong United. Expect more in the Group Stage of the Asian Champions League.
